Multi-Unit Executive Chef | Kingston, NY

Most Executive Chef jobs are one kitchen. This isn’t.

We’re hiring one chef to lead two completely different restaurants in Kingston, NY:

  • A seasonal, waterfront destination restaurant
  • A high-volume, bar-driven neighborhood kitchen

The Cornell Restaurant + Bar · Brickmen Kitchen + Bar
Kingston, NY (Relocation Available)

Kingston, NY is one of the most exciting small-city food markets in the Northeast — and we’re hiring one chef to lead two of its standout restaurants.

This is not a copy/paste multi-unit role.

These are two fully distinct kitchens:

  • A destination waterfront restaurant rooted in Hudson Valley seasonality
  • A high-energy, bar-driven neighborhood spot built on consistency and volume

We’re looking for a chef who can operate in both — without compromising either.

What You’ll Own

  • Full culinary leadership across two concepts with different identities
  • Seasonal menu development rooted in local sourcing
  • Food cost, labor management, and vendor strategy
  • Kitchen systems, standards, and execution
  • Hiring, mentoring, and retaining strong BOH teams
  • Consistency across both high-touch and high-volume service

Who You Are

  • Executive Chef experience across multiple concepts or locations
  • Comfortable operating in both upscale and casual environments
  • Strong operator: food cost, labor, systems, and structure
  • Hands-on leader — present in the kitchen, not just managing from afar
  • Builder of teams, not just menus
  • Calm, accountable, and consistent under pressure
