Position Overview

VIVA PIMA! is seeking an experienced Retail Director to lead and grow our thrift store operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving retail sales, operational excellence, volunteer engagement, and customer experience across our physical store and online sales platforms.

Responsibilities

·       Lead day-to-day retail store operations (thrift/resale environment)

·       Drive sales growth, revenue, and profitability goals

·       Manage budget, expenses, and financial performance

·       Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers and staff

·       Ensure a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment

·       Implement pricing strategy, merchandising, and inventory rotation

·       Oversee online sales platforms (e-commerce, resale marketplaces)

·       Partner with leadership and volunteers to improve efficiency and expand sales opportunities

·       Support marketing and promotions through content and collaboration

·       Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and daily operations
