This might be one of the most fun content jobs in San Diego.

We’re looking for a high-energy, funny, creative, social-first Content Creator & Social Media Manager who wants to build, shoot, edit, post, travel, meet incredible people, and help grow a fast-moving consumer brand.

You’ll be creating content alongside our team, customers, creators, professional athletes, major influencers, celebrities, and other high-profile collaborators.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-and-schedule-posts-all-day social media job.

One day you might be shooting TikToks, The next you’re filming with our founder, an athlete, capturing a creator collaboration, shooting lifestyle content around San Diego, or jumping on a plane for a campaign.

We want someone who lives and breathes social media and understands what actually makes people stop scrolling.

What you'll do

• Own and help grow our presence across TikTok and Instagram
• Film short-form content consistently
• Be comfortable in front of the camera and behind it
• Shoot lifestyle, product, founder, influencer and campaign content
• Develop concepts, hooks, trends and content ideas
• Edit fast-paced Reels, TikToks and social-first videos
• Attend shoots, events and collaborations around San Diego
• Help coordinate creators, shoots and content calendars
• Manage posting, community engagement and social execution
• Spot trends early and turn them into content quickly
• Help us make the brand feel alive, relevant and impossible to ignore

You'll probably crush this if...

You're confident. Creative. Obsess over strategy, understand consumer psychology, love to have fun and hungry to build!

Experience with any of the following is a major plus:

• DSLR / mirrorless cameras
• CapCut, Premiere Pro or Final Cut
• Photography
• TikTok + Instagram growth
• Social media management
• Creator / influencer management
• Project management
• Content calendars
• AI tools + AI automations
• Notion, Asana or similar tools

You don't need 5-10 years of experience. We care much more about taste, confidence, creativity, work ethic and your ability to execute.

The opportunity

This role has a ton of upside.

You'll get access to major collaboration opportunities, interesting people, incredible locations and a constant pipeline of content to create.

Travel required for shoots will be expensed by the company.

We're starting this as a 25–30 hour/week contract position, but for the right person there is a very real opportunity to turn it into a full-time role and grow with the company.

Compensation: $25–$40/hour depending on experience. Opportunity for salary + generous benefits down the road if you're the right fit. 

Location: San Diego. Being based in North County San Diego is a huge plus.

Must be comfortable working on-site, traveling locally for shoots, appearing on camera and working in a fast-moving environment. 21+ required.
