We've made some exciting updates to our pay rates:

  • PCU RNs (Jewish & UofL Hospitals): +$5/hour specialty pay
  • ICU RNs (Jewish & UofL Hospitals): +$7/hour specialty pay
  • CVICU & CVOR RNs (Jewish Hospital): +$10/hour specialty pay
  • Cath Lab RNs: Cath Lab RN salary pay grades have increased, and Cath Lab call pay has increased system-wide to $10/hour.

We're looking for experienced team members who already know our organization and would love the chance to reconnect and discuss current openings and compensation. This new specialty pay is in addition to your base pay rate and any applicable shift differential. The specialty pay applies to the roles of: RN, RN-Charge, RN-Weekend, and RN Shift Coordinator. The specialty pay applies to Full-time, Part-time, and PRN statuses. The specialty pay applies to both 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. Additional Job Description

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is required
  • All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire (required for UofL Hospital only)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)

Experience:

  • All new RN graduates will participate in the Nurse Residency program and must successfully complete all activities (required)
  • Two years of hospital patient care experience (preferred)

Licensure:

  • Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)

Certification:

  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)

Note: additional, specialized certifications may be required or preferred based on unit
