Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients presenting with various pain issues.
• Formulating and executing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Administering therapeutic interventions, including medication management, physical rehabilitation, and patient education.
• Engaging in patient consultations to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital policies, ensuring high levels of patient confidentiality.
• Collaborating efficiently with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
• Educating patients and their families on pain management strategies and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Physician Assistant position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant, in good standing.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably with experience using Office Ally.
