Job description

Underground Mining Engineer:

Project: Interior of British Columbia

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Underground Mining Engineer to support the development of an Underground Mining Project located in the interior of British Columbia. This position is a project-based, three-year secondment, operating on a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) rotational schedule, with full camp accommodations provided while on site.

Work schedules will be rotation-dependent and aligned with project phase and operational requirements. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable to varying on-site rotation lengths, including extended site rotations as required to meet project demands.

The Underground Mining Engineer will support Project Managers through on-site underground mine engineering, design, planning, and operating & capital cost estimation. While assigned primarily to the development of the Underground Mining Project, responsibilities may evolve in alignment with project development stages and operational priorities.
