Position Overview
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing golf performance and simulator facility. This position will cover a maternity leave beginning August 17th, 2026, and will continue afterward, averaging up to 30+ hours per week.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for membership administration, account management, facility operations, sales growth, employee supervision, and member engagement. This role is ideal for an organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys managing relationships, improving processes, and helping drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all membership and account management activities, including member onboarding, renewals, upgrades, billing oversight, payment processing, retention efforts, and maintaining accurate records within CRM and booking software systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members and prospective members by building relationships, conducting facility tours, generating membership sales, and supporting membership growth and engagement initiatives.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a clean, organized, fully stocked, and professional environment while maintaining an exceptional member experience.
- Supervise and schedule part-time Operations Associates, monitor performance and accountability, assist with training and onboarding, and foster a positive, member-focused culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth through memberships, events, corporate partnerships, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
Compensation & Incentives
Hourly Rate: $14.00 per hour
Uncapped Commission Structure
Membership Sales
- Earn 50% of all self-promoted and sold membership initiation fees.
- Example: An EAGLE Membership with a $500 initiation fee earns a $250 commission.
- Discounted initiations are paid proportionally.
Corporate Events & Group Bookings
- Earn 20% commission on self-originated corporate events, birthday parties, outings, and similar bookings.
- Self-originated corporate memberships pay a $500 commission.
Additional commissions and incentive opportunities may be available based on the economics of specific events and programs.
Schedule & Availability
The facility operates during the following hours:
Monday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The Operations Manager will generally be scheduled 2:00pm or 3:00pm until close Monday through Thursday, and 10:00am or 11:00am until close on weekends, depending on business needs. Employee may choose two regular days off per week per your availability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, sales, hospitality, or operations management.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills with the ability to engage members, prospects, and staff professionally.
- Experience using CRM platforms, booking software, billing systems, and other business management tools.
