Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Pastry Assistant who is eager to learn and assist in the daily production of our pastries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a passion for baking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to refine their pastry skills while working with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients under the guidance of the Lead Pastry Chef.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of ingredients and finished products.
• Help with decorating and finishing pastries with precision and creativity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a high standard of quality.
• Support the team in restocking and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior chefs.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality pastries.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
