We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Building Superintendent to manage the daily maintenance and operation of a residential cooperative building.

After 120 day probationary period, the individual that is hired may be will be provided with a 2 bedroom apartment

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, stairwells, basement, and exterior grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report building issues to management.
• Manage garbage and recycling according to local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a building superintendent or maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
