Job description

Day/night shift Machinist-
The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to
produce precision metal parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in safe working condition.
• Verify dimensions and quality of completed work to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and job documentation.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and materials.
• Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to company-specified weight limits.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery,
and varying temperatures.


Pay is based on previous work experience and work ethic.
