Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that facilitate recovery from orthopedic conditions.
• Implement effective therapy interventions utilizing various treatment techniques, modalities, and exercises to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress meticulously in accordance with best practices and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous communication with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to actively participate in the healing process.
• Meet minimum productivity targets along with other performance metrics established by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diverse population includes individuals of all ages—from pediatric to geriatric patients—allowing you to expand your expertise in various segments of physical therapy and to challenge yourself with a range of rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program is mandatory.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required to practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in using computer systems and word processing software to manage patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, we are open to considering applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy who have extensive hands-on experience. Experience with evidence-based practice models, and familiarity with rehabilitation policies and procedures, will be considered strong assets. Proven ability to build rapport with patients and establish productive therapeutic relationships is essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with an attractive benefits package. Benefits include:
