Position Overview

Reporting to our Senior Vice President, the Branch Manager will serve as a sales-focused team leader driving profitable growth in our Facility Services Division. This role requires a strong background in janitorial and security operations and proven success in business development and branch leadership. Based in Florida, the ideal candidate will oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions for the region, ensuring top-quality service and long-term client retention and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

· Drive the profitable growth of janitorial and security services throughout the Florida region.

· Generate leads, attend pre-bid conferences, prepare proposals, and secure new contracts.

· Collaborate on and execute a 3-year strategic plan to meet revenue, profit, and market-expansion goals.

· Strengthen existing client relationships and identify potential cross-selling or service enhancements

Operations & Financial Management

· Set and manage branch budgets, including labor, supplies, payroll, billing, and invoices.

· Oversee all expenditures and maintain cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.

· Provide accurate P&L reporting, ensuring the branch meets or exceeds financial targets.

· Coordinate with corporate leadership to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements

Janitorial & Security Expertise

· Ensure consistent, high-quality janitorial and security operations that meet or exceed client expectations.

· Adhere to the safety programs and train staff on proper equipment use, chemical handling, and security protocols.

· Regularly inspect sites to maintain quality standards and proactively address any deficiencies

Team Leadership & Development

· Recruit, train, and mentor employees in alignment with the company’s core values.

· Conduct periodic performance reviews, identify top talent, and promote from within as appropriate.

· Foster a positive work environment where employees feel respected, motivated, and accountable

· Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure unity of vision and achievement of shared goals.

Customer Relationship Management

· Develop and maintain key client relationships through regular communication and site visits.

· Proactively address customer concerns; resolve issues promptly and thoroughly.

· Seek opportunities to provide value-added services that strengthen long-term partnerships

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

· Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging best practices.

· Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies or methods that lower costs and enhance services.

· Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives and acquisitions relevant to janitorial and security growth.

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelors' degree (preferred).

· Experience:

o Minimum of 10 years in facility-related services (janitorial, maintenance, security).

o Demonstrated success in expanding business and leading high-performance teams.

· Sales Orientation: Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting revenue targets.

· Management Skills: Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and payroll oversight.

· Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; able to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

· Technical & Analytical: Proficient in MS Office and adept at data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning.

Nice to Have

· Working knowledge of CRM software and advanced analytical tools.

· Familiarity with best practices in cost-savings, safety, and compliance.

Compensation & Benefits

· Pay Range: The expected base salary for this role $90,000 – $110,000 annually, dependent on experience and skills.

· Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), typically Monday–Friday.

· Work Location: On-site in Florida (regional travel is required).

Work Environment:

The Branch Manager / General Manager typically works in an office environment within the branch, interacting regularly with staff, customers, and senior management. Occasional travel may be required for meetings or training.
