Job description
Transportation Supervisor
The Transportation Supervisor will report to the Director of Transportation. The objective of this role is to supervise and assist students with disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist and supervise students in entering or exiting the bus
- Assist students with their physical needs
- Supervise and assist with discipline
- Provide individual attention when needed
- Assist students in emergency situations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation
Required qualifications:
- Hold a high school diploma
- Demonstrate a background of working with children with disabilities successfully
- BCI/FBI Background Check
The job will be located at:
- All schools where students are assigned
- Handicapped bus
Equipment utilized:
- Wheelchair lift
- Wheelchairs
- Restraints
- Car seats
