Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finish Carpenter role based in Slinger, WI. The Finish Carpenter will install trim, doors, moldings, cabinetry, and other interior and exterior finish components according to project specifications and plans. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring all finish work meets quality and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other trades, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to project timelines. The Finish Carpenter will also perform inspections of completed work, make necessary adjustments, and contribute to continuous improvement of construction practices.
Qualifications
  • Strong Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills, including installation of trim, doors, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork.
  • Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools commonly used in finish carpentry, with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
  • Experience with Framing and basic structural understanding to support high-quality finish work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications accurately.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering precise, high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work safely on active job sites, follow company safety procedures, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to Slinger, WI job sites and ability to work full-time schedules as required by projects.
  • Previous experience in commercial or multi-industry construction environments is preferred; relevant trade certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
