Job Summary

TopDressing.com is seeking a dependable, hardworking Top Dressing Operator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating specialized lawn care equipment, applying top dressing materials, and delivering exceptional service to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate top dressing and lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load, transport, and apply top dressing materials to customer properties.

• Perform lawn renovations, leveling, overseeding, and related turf improvement services.

• Follow daily service schedules and complete assigned routes on time.

• Communicate professionally with customers on-site.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of trucks, trailers, and equipment.

• Accurately document completed work and service notes.

• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

• Assist team members with other lawn care and landscaping services as needed.

QualificationsRequired

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Preferred

• Experience operating lawn care, landscaping, agricultural, or construction equipment.

• Experience towing trailers.

• Experience driving trucks.

• Knowledge of turfgrass, lawn care, or landscaping practices.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and walking.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to work in heat, cold, humidity, and other outdoor conditions.

• Ability to safely operate machinery and power equipment.
