Tom Ottery Transit, Inc. is a Family Owned Company that has been servicing the dairy industry for over 75 years. We run a Fleet of 26 trucks Mack, Volvo, Western Star & Kenworth as well as 40 Food Grade Kosher tankers that we operate throughout the Midwest. We haul Dairy Products such as Raw Milk, Cream and Whey, we have local Farm Routes that pickup milk from multiple farms as well as Direct Ship Farms that we service with our Direct Ship Tankers. We have our own shop onsite that handles all of our truck and trailer maintenance, repairs and inspections in house. Our facility is based just outside of Fond du lac, WI on County Road UU.

We currently have an opening for a Full Time Class A Tanker Local Driver. This position consists of delivering loads of Raw Milk from our facility in Fond du lac, WI direct to processing plants throughout Wisconsin. These runs average 200-300 miles per day (Average 8 hour day), guaranteed 40 hours per week. All Full time drivers have their own assigned Truck.

(This job is delivering full tanker loads of milk, not picking up milk from farms so a Samplers License is not required), all trailers are pre loaded at our facility. Driver takes load from our facility, delivers to assigned plant and then returns to our facility empty.

Starting pay for this position is $27.50 per hour, with a review after 90 days.

Schedule would be Monday - Friday (7am-3pm) with "WEEKENDS OFF"

Weekend work is available is desired, but not mandatory

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years driving experience with CDL Class A/Tanker
• Current Fed Med Card
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years
• DUI, DWI and other more severe offenses considered after 5 years from the date of conviction

Starting pay: $27.50 per hour

Tom Ottery Transit, Inc. is a trucking company that specializes in the hauling of Liquid Dairy Products (Raw Milk, Cream and Whey). We have our own producers that we pickup milk from on a daily basis with Quad Axle Tank Straight Trucks, Tractor Pump Trailers and Direct Ship Tankers , we also operate a Transfer Station where our farm pickup milk is transfered over to OTR Tankers for delivery the same day or next day, for delivery drivers we have loacal drivers that deliver to proccesing plants in Wisconsin as well as Regional Drivers that deliver our products and pickup products from customers out of State.
