Work Environment

This position affords you the flexibility of working remotely while primarily collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals focused on hospice care. You will be engaging with clients through teletherapy and digital platforms, allowing you to maintain a flexible work schedule that optimizes your work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, catering to their unique therapeutic needs.
  • Regularly monitor client progress through structured evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, employing evidence-based techniques to stabilize and support their mental health.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community service providers, promoting a network of support and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services provided, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate actively in clinical meetings, quality assurance activities, and continuous education to enhance professional development.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, providing consultation and advice as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele experiencing varying degrees of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Our focus is on providing compassionate care to individuals and families within a hospice context, where sensitive situations demand a high level of empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • Extensive knowledge of psychological theories and therapeutic approaches relevant to social work practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective client engagement and collaboration with team members.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, displaying cultural competency in your practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing service delivery and documentation.
  • Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed practices will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
