The Freight Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting a medium-sized logistics team by managing shipment scheduling, documentation, and inventory tracking. This position primarily focuses on international shipments, including Drayage Intermodal, Less Than Truckload (LTL), Full Truckload (FTL) shipping, and warehouse storage. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Freight Clerk ensures smooth communication with customers and accurate data entry to support operational efficiency without requiring travel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate international shipments including Drayage Intermodal, LTL, and FTL
• Process and maintain accurate shipping documentation
• Track inventory and manage warehouse storage data
• Enter data promptly and accurately into logistics systems
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or freight coordination

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with inventory management
