Our mission is to establish a nurturing environment that prioritizes mental wellness and recovery for our diverse clientele. Through a holistic approach that integrates evidence-based practices, we aim to empower individuals and their families affected by addiction and other mental health challenges. Our team comprises seasoned professionals committed to providing compassionate care while fostering resilience and hope within the communities we serve.

Work Environment

This role allows for flexible remote work, enabling our counselors to provide their vital services from the comfort of their own homes. Our remote setup promotes a supportive atmosphere by utilizing innovative telehealth technologies, ensuring seamless communication and team collaboration. While you'll primarily work independently, you will also engage in regular virtual team meetings to stay connected and informed about client progress and organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments to identify the unique needs, strengths, and goals of patients seeking recovery from substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evidence-based guidelines that address specific patient requirements.
  • Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions using therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to drive personal change.
  • Lead group therapy sessions focused on cultivating a supportive community atmosphere where individuals can share experiences and learn coping strategies together.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic care is provided that encompasses all facets of a patient's health.
  • Provide crisis intervention support in the event of substance-related emergencies, offering immediate assistance and resources to patients in need.
  • Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery techniques, and available community resources to aid in sustainable recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records following legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and privacy laws.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities and team case consultations to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest treatment methodologies and trends in addiction recovery to continuously improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are facing challenges with substance use disorders, including those dealing with varying degrees of addiction severity. The clinic serves a diverse patient population, including adults with co-occurring mental health conditions, and emphasizes a tailored approach to treatment that respects each individual's unique challenges and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field of social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of substance use disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy specifically for addiction recovery is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental mindset when engaging with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting with a special focus on substance use disorders and recovery.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment using telehealth platforms to provide counseling services.
  • Engagement with a multidisciplinary team in a community health clinic setting.
Compensation and Benefits

Your dedication and expertise are rewarded with a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to generous financial compensation, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
