Position Overview

Thrive & Bloom Counseling is seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team in Amarillo, Texas. This remote position offers the opportunity to engage deeply with clients while employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to foster mental wellness. As an LPC, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals navigating mental health challenges.

Work Environment

In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our collaborative team. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some evening or weekend hours to accommodate client needs. Our remote setting allows for a balance of independence and teamwork, with regular virtual meetings and case supervision to ensure you feel supported in your practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately determine clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with client goals and needs.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to diverse client backgrounds.
• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams to facilitate holistic client care.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in strict adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case reviews, and professional development to enhance clinical skills and enrich client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is incredibly diverse, encompassing individuals from various walks of life facing challenges such as mood disorders, trauma, addiction, and anxiety. You will be facilitating sessions that often address complex interrelations of mental health in personal, social, and community contexts. A core focus of our practice is to create a culturally responsive environment that acknowledges and respects individuality, facilitating healing in clients who often have experienced significant life challenges.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, ensuring compliance with all necessary legal regulations.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and group therapy within diverse mental health settings.
• Proficient knowledge and use of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities for effective mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with a varied client base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and accurate client documentation.
• Commitment to ethical practices and the maintenance of client confidentiality in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings preferred, demonstrating adaptability to modern therapeutic practices.
• Background in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Experience with substance abuse treatment or crisis intervention preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for bonuses.
