Job description


Therapy Source is seeking Intervention Specialists to deliver in-person support for elementary charter school students. These full-time positions are available for the current school year.
Position 1:
  • Full-Time - $55,000/year
  • Caseload of 12 students (may add more later in the year, but would cap at 16 students)
  • 3rd and 4th grade
  • Pull-out service model

Position 2:
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Setting: In-person
  • Students: K-8
  • Pay: $37-39/hr
  • Full-Time (35-40hrs/week, includes direct student services and a paid 30-minute planning period each day)
  • Paraprofessional is already on staff to provide additional classroom support
  • Responsible for completing required documentation and writing IEPs
  • Additional hours may be needed for indirect services, including IEP writing, and can be worked as needed

Qualifications:
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Resident Educator, Professional, Senior, or Lead)
• School certification in Ohio
• Current required clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities May Include:
• Providing specially designed instruction aligned to student needs
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction using data
• Creating a positive, structured learning environment
• Supporting students, families, and general education staff
• Coaching students in self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs with measurable outcomes
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
