Therapeutic Application Practice (TAP) is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and motivated
Intensive In-Home (IIH) Counselors to provide quality, community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families. If you are passionate about helping families overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you!
Position: Intensive In-Home Counselor
Responsibilities:
- Provide Intensive In-Home counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DBHDS, DMAS, Medicaid, and agency standards.
- Collaborate with families, schools, community partners, and other treatment providers.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and required trainings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred or eligible under Virginia DBHDS requirements.
- Valid Virginia driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and other required screenings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
