Job description

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING PRODUCT DATA ACROSS MULTIPLE SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL PLATFORMS?


The Wheel Group is hiring a Data & Web Administrator to manage the accuracy, maintenance, storage, and distribution of product data across our B2B platforms, direct-to-consumer websites, dealer partners, and data services.


This is a data-focused role requiring hands-on experience with data management, data integrity, validation and standardization, web content administration, and large datasets. Automotive aftermarket experience, including ACES & PIES, is highly preferred.

BEHIND THE DATA

The Wheel Group is looking for a detail-driven Data & Web Administrator to take ownership of product data across our brands, systems, and digital platforms. You’ll help ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable product information reaches our dealer partners, data services, B2B portal, and direct-to-consumer websites.


This role sits at the intersection of data management, digital assets, and web administration, with responsibility for maintaining data integrity, supporting product mapping, managing updates, and keeping information accurate across multiple channels.


Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll serve as a key cross-functional resource for product data and distribution. This is an autonomous, hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into the details, solving data challenges, and keeping complex information organized and accurate.


HOW YOU'LL KEEP THE DATA MOVING

  • Develop, implement, and manage data strategies for all brands across various systems
  • Facilitate all brand data to meet and exceed industry standards and platform expectations
  • Ensure security and accessibility of all company data both internal and external
  • Manage data sheets used internal and external on company intranet and data repository
  • Drive data standardization, validation, compliance and maintenance
  • Enforce all data standards and regularly review to develop improved standards
  • Ensure data integrity across all platforms and processes to support quality data
  • Manage company’s B2B portal for price and data updates, site functionality and data accuracy
  • Manage third party vendors to maintain and update product mapping using ACES and PIES data
  • Assist marketing team in managing back-end data and asset management on company-owned direct to consumer branded sites
  • Manage M.A.P. (Minimum Advertised Price) data and own the vendor relationship
  • Manage varied weekly and monthly reports and distribution
  • Support marketing team with web updates to data and images
  • Regularly monitor and audit information, data and data systems that could affect analytical results or output to customer-facing data
  • Communicate with vendors to initiate changes, improvements with data and data systems
  • Additional duties will apply as this is not meant to provide an exhaustive list of responsibilities


WHAT'S IN YOUR TOOL BOX

  • BA in Information Science, Information Management Systems, Database Management, Computer Science, IT or similar relevant field preferred
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a data intensive role
  • Extremely detailed oriented and ability to persevere through large amounts of data
  • In-depth understanding of data systems including storage and distribution
  • Solid strategist in using best practices for all data management
  • Intermediate, or higher, working knowledge and aptitude of excel
  • Intermediate experience with Klipfolio Business Dashboard software preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI preferred
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Team player who is fiercely dependable
  • Understanding of automotive parts is preferred and extremely helpful in this role but not required

WHAT THE ROLE REQUIRES

  • Ability to remain stationary at a workstation and move throughout the facility or other work locations as needed.
  • Ability to operate computers, standard office equipment, and other tools or equipment required for the role.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment or boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally climb, kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, or crawl as required within the work environment.


LOCATION: This is a full-time, on-site position based at The Wheel Group’s headquarters in Ontario, California. This role is not remote or hybrid.
