Join our upscale senior living community where dining is more than a meal-it's an experience. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Line Cook who takes pride in delivering restaurant-quality cuisine in a refined, hospitality-driven environment.
In this role, you will help create exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests by preparing beautifully presented, high-quality meals with consistency and care. You will be a key contributor to a culinary program that values freshness, presentation, and personalized service. The ideal candidate is confident, flexible, and able to lead food production in the absence of the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and present menu items with a focus on quality, consistency, and visual appeal
  • Deliver incredible customer service by preparing ingredients and creating high-quality meals
  • Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistency
  • Coordinate food production to ensure seamless, timely service for residents and guests
  • Effectively multitask and balance prep work while ensuring meals are prepared in a timely manner
  • Accurately prepare specialized and therapeutic diets with attention to detail and care
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and kitchen presentation
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and temperature to ensure an exceptional dining experience
  • Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Assist with ordering to help maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize waste
  • Complete required logs and documentation (temperature checks, cleaning schedules, etc.)
  • Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining or hospitality preferred)
  • Passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences
  • Ability to follow recipes, plating guidelines, and verbal instructions with precision
  • Experience with modified or therapeutic diets preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

WHAT SETS YOU APART
  • A genuine appreciation for serving seniors and enhancing their daily experience through food
  • A polished, professional approach and attention to detail
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence
  • Availability to work 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, including weekdays and rotating weekends

WHY JOIN US?
  • Be part of a hospitality-focused, resident-centered community
  • Work in a supportive, team-driven environment where your craft is valued
  • Opportunity to grow within a high-quality, service-oriented dining program
