Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Hibbing, MN. The Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their coverage needs, explain policy options, and recommend appropriate insurance products. Daily responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records. The role also involves handling policy changes, answering client questions, assisting with claims inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals while adhering to regulatory requirements and agency standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and ethically.
  • Experience or knowledge in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to guide clients in selecting suitable policies and managing costs.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, professionalism, and the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Ability to learn and apply industry regulations, underwriting guidelines, and agency procedures.
  • Comfort using computer systems for quoting, documentation, and client communication.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, licensing, or prior insurance experience is beneficial.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain relevant state insurance licenses as needed.
