We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at The Health Connection in Las Vegas, Nevada. Work Environment

At The Health Connection, the work setting is completely onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and the team. Our rehabilitation facility is designed to foster a positive and supportive environment that enhances patient recovery. As part of our team, you will benefit from a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge sharing and mutual respect are foundational principles. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule while ensuring ample time for patient interaction and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and identify functional impairments.
• Design individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Implement and demonstrate hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities that enhance pain relief, mobility, and restoration of function.
• Educate patients on correct body mechanics, posture, and preventive measures to avoid reinjury.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records to track treatment interventions and results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and those undergoing rehabilitation after surgery or injuries. The focus is on delivering personalized care that not only treats the physical symptoms but also addresses the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery. Your contributions will directly influence each patient’s journey towards regaining their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist with compliance to continuing education requirements.
• Board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• At least five years of hands-on clinical experience with a variety of patient conditions.
• Strong proficiency in modern physical therapy techniques, modalities, and rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills to assess and interpret patient needs effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with specialized therapies such as sports rehabilitation, spinal care, or chronic pain management will be considered an asset. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also preferred, as it will streamline your documentation and treatment tracking processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The Health Connection offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
