Morning Prep Cook — Part-Time/Full-Time Busy Season (Los Angeles)
The Copper Key Events is a catering and event company based in Downtown LA, and we're looking for experienced prep cooks to join us for our busy season. This is a direct-hire position available on a part-time or full-time basis.
You'll be working mornings from 9am to 5pm, handling all prep work for our event kitchen: knife work, vegetable prep, sauce preparation, mise en place setup, and supporting our kitchen team before events go to service. We work with a range of menus — everything from casual buffets to multi-course plated events — so versatility across cuisines and cooking techniques is important.
We're looking for candidates with solid prep cook or line cook experience, comfort working efficiently at high volume, strong knife skills, and the ability to follow recipes precisely and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen. You should have reliable transportation and a current food handler's card (or be willing to get one). 
Pay is based on experience.
