Job description
A Hotel Marketplace Attendant works in the hotel’s lobby café, grabandgo market, or retail shop, combining food & beverage service with guest retail experiences. The role is guestfocused, requiring both hospitality and retail skills.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Preparation: Make coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks; assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other grabandgo items; warm up readytoeat foods.
Cashiering: Operate the pointofsale (POS) system to process credit/debit transactions, handle cash, make change, and process gift cards or certificates.
Inventory Management: Keep the market stocked using First In, First Out (FIFO) methods; monitor expiration dates; ensure adequate merchandise supply.
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer menu and product questions, assist with purchases, and ensure high guest satisfaction.
Area Maintenance: Keep the market and adjacent seating areas clean, organized, and guestready.
Merchandise Support: Demonstrate knowledge of products, styling, and pricing; wrap and pack orders for shipping when required.
Job Requirements
Prior customer service experience preferred.
POS system experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fastpaced, guestfocused environment.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Work Schedule
Full-Time & PT Available; Varies: 6:30am – 12: PM, 7 days a week
