Job description

Tex’s Transmissions & More is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.

We are a busy, locally owned independent automotive repair shop specializing in general automotive repair, diagnostics, transmission repair, and electrical diagnosis.
We’re looking for a technician who takes pride in doing quality work, can work independently, and wants to be rewarded for productivity.
And yes—our shop is air-conditioned.
Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in general automotive repair.
  • Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills.
  • Comfortable using scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently.
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Dependable and professional.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • ASE certifications preferred, but not required.
  • ASE L1 is a plus.
