Job Description

Telemetry unit is an exciting, fast-paced cardiac unit with 48 telemetry monitored beds. We provide care to a variety of adult patients with diagnoses such as stroke, diabetes, heart failure, seizures, hypertension, and cardiac dysrhythmias.  Doctors Hospital is recognized for being a High Performing Hospital for Heart Failure and COPD.


About our team:
-The team work environment allows you to work alongside
patient care technicians, unit clerks, transporters, and your team leader.
-The Register Nurse (RN) is responsible under general supervision for the
total care, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of each patient assigned.
They will also implement and follow the plan of care for each assigned
patient.

-The Registered Nurse (RN) will interpret all cardiac rhythms for
patients assigned. 

-Will attend and participate in in-service training and
various educational programs to grow as a professional nurse.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

-Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland.

-At least one year of current Telemetry and/or Progressive care experience

-Current American Heart Association BLS CPR and American Heart Association Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) Certifications
