The SM is the face of Tectonic, shepherding clients and partners through education and a white-glove experience. They are the master of the CRM, utilizing this tool as a single-source for improving Tectonic’s sales metrics and process, as well as creating feedback loops for Tectonic Marketing and Sales.

Directly reports to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Client Qualification & Fit Assessment

    • Lead a disciplined, trust-based qualification process that ensures prospective clients are a strong fit for Tectonic’s fixed-cost, design-build model. Own early disqualification of misaligned leads to protect production capacity, margins, and client experience.

  • Up-Front Expectation Setting

    • Establish clear agendas, outcomes, and next steps for every sales interaction. Align clients early on decision criteria, timelines, budget realities, and the Tectonic process to eliminate late-stage surprises and misalignment.

  • Pain, Motivation & Budget Discovery

    • Guide deep discovery conversations to uncover the emotional, functional, and financial drivers behind each project. Lead transparent budget conversations early, including cost-of-inaction and scope-to-budget alignment, using tools such as the Back-Of-The-Napkin (BON) estimate and Design Proposal.

  • Sales Process Ownership & Optimization

    • Own, maintain and continuously refine Tectonic’s sales process and CRM to prioritize fit over volume. Maintain clear reporting and feedback loops that inform leadership, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen alignment between sales, design, and production.

  • Marketing Alignment & Lead Quality

    • Partner with the COO to align marketing strategy with sales qualification criteria, ensuring inbound leads are educated, values-aligned, and prepared for Tectonic’s process before entering active sales conversations.

  • Client Experience Leadership (Pre-Construction)

    • Design and steward a premium pre-construction client experience that reinforces trust, clarity, and confidence. Ensure smooth handoffs to design and production teams while reinforcing client commitment and reducing buyer’s remorse post-agreement.

  • Business Development

    • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture high-value partnerships with luxury, wealth managers, architects, and other key stakeholders to generate high-quality referrals, expanding Tectonic’s reach in the high-end residential market and diversifying project opportunities (spec builds).

REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven track record of residential building knowledge and code

  • Proven track record of developing a robust sales process and reporting system (via CRM) that led to higher lead conversion rates

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Expert Level user of CRM software: Go High Level or similar

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • Understanding of luxury market and relatability to highly affluent clientele

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
