Job description

Title: Analyst
Location: Alexandria, VA
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Must complete federal personnel vetting/Tier 2 background investigation.
Job Description:
The Analyst provides technical, analytical, and administrative support for project implementation, grant performance management, and technical assistance coordination for the Strengthening Community Colleges (SCC) Training Grants program. The Analyst supports the Project Director and Senior Analyst in delivering high-quality technical assistance and maintaining effective communication with DOL staff, grantees, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support.
  • Support technical assistance planning and scheduling activities.
  • Maintain project schedules, action items, and deliverable tracking.
  • Assist with analysis of quarterly grantee performance reports.
  • Coordinate webinar logistics, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain tracking systems for Workforce Integrated Performance System (WIPS) access requests and technical assistance inquiries.
  • Develop meeting summaries, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Support preparation of technical assistance products and resource materials.
  • Maintain project databases and document repositories.
  • Assist with quality assurance reviews and deliverable formatting.
  • Support monitoring of contract performance and reporting requirements.

Experience Requirements:
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience supporting workforce development, grants management, technical assistance, research, or project administration.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
