Job description

I.             Summary:

To complete set-ups for each job, ran during their shift in the most efficient manner.

II.            Core Activities:

1.            Assist Press Operator with die changes.

2.            Ensure that all packs are wrapped in compliance with customer requirements.

3.            Set-up pilers.

4.            Cut bands and paper.

5.            Assist Quality Department.

6.            Prepare blanking code tags.

7.            Assist in Housekeeping.

8.            Stay aware of any potential safety hazards.

9.            Complete projects as assigned.

10.         Has the authority to stop production if necessary to correct quality or safety problems.

11.         Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

III.          Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1.            Ability to drive a hi-lo.

2.            Possess mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude.

3.            Ability to operate overhead crane.

IV.          Work Style:

1.            Adhere to company policy and procedures.

2.            Arrive punctually to work.

3.            Maintain a certain level of production deemed acceptable by management.

4.            Establish a positive working relationship with fellow team members.

5.            Strive to be a part of the company’s aim to deliver the right product safely and profitably, to the right customer, on time, every time.

1.            High School Diploma or GED.
