Job description
Mensana Center provides psychiatric services to individuals of all ages, helping them achieve emotional well-being and a higher quality of life. Our team of board-certified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and support staff collaborate to create individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs.
The LMHC will provide in-person professional counseling services, including assessment, counseling, case management, and care coordination to a patient population living in a residential facility. The therapist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the patient's psychosocial needs, promote well-being, and support overall treatment goals.

Physical Requirements:
This position primarily operates in an office environment. The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and other standard office equipment, and occasionally lift or move items up to 10-15 pounds. Walking, bending, and standing may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The LMHC will provide in-person professional counseling services, including assessment, counseling, case management, and care coordination to a patient population living in a residential facility. The therapist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the patient's psychosocial needs, promote well-being, and support overall treatment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide initial intake, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes.
- Complete progress notes within 24 hours of time of service.
- Maintain client's charts and keep complete and correct documentation
- Case management including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care.
- Complete timesheet daily reflecting the billable hours worked
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mental health services, case management, or program coordination.
- Experience working in clinical or community mental health settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care and support for individuals with mental health needs.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other regulations related to mental health care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
