Overview:

Put your equipment repair experience to work in a field-based service role where you can solve problems, support customers, and keep machines productive.

Our client is seeking a full-time Road Service Technician for an experienced mechanic, who is comfortable working independently, diagnosing equipment issues in the field, and handling basic repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.

• Consistent Monday through Friday schedule, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What You Will Do:

• Travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair compact and heavy equipment.
• Identify the source of mechanical problems by evaluating diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and related equipment systems.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and routine condition checks intended to reduce equipment downtime.
• Repair or replace major components and perform more extensive rebuild work when needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least 2 years of experience servicing heavy or construction-related equipment.
• Previous hands-on exposure to equipment such as skid steers, excavators, or comparable machinery.
• Strong general mechanical aptitude to diagnose equipment failures.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and related diagnostics.
• Ability to perform basic repair and replace mechanical repairs.
• Welding capability applicable to equipment service and repair.
• Strong customer communication skills.
