Role Summary

The Traffic Control Estimator develops traffic control estimates, proposals, and project budgets while leveraging field experience and operational knowledge to support profitable project execution.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities

ย ย ย ย ย  Prepare cost estimates and bid proposals for traffic control projects.

ย ย ย ย ย  Review plans, specifications, and traffic control requirements.

ย ย ย ย ย  Calculate labor, equipment, and material costs.

ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate with operations and field personnel.

ย ย ย ย ย  Track bid opportunities and maintain estimate records.

ย ย ย ย ย  Utilize Microsoft Office and estimating software.

ย ย ย ย ย  Support project handoff and startup activities.

ย ย ย ย ย  Communicate with customers regarding project scope and requirements.

ย ย ย ย ย  Analyze project profitability and cost trends.

ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Experience & Physical Requirements

ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum 3 years of traffic control experience including 1 year in field operations and 2 years in supervisory roles.

ย ย ย ย ย  ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.

ย ย ย ย ย  Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to read traffic control plans and project specifications.

ย ย ย ย ย  Strong organizational and communication skills.
