Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)


Position Overview

TOBschool is seeking a warm, patient, and experienced Lead Teacher for our 2-year-old classroom. This role focuses on supporting early development through nurturing care, structured routines, and hands-on exploration, while guiding children through important milestones such as language development, social skills, and toilet training.


What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support early learning and exploration
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment for toddlers
  • Support children’s toilet training in a consistent, respectful, and developmentally appropriate manner in partnership with families
  • Establish and maintain daily routines including meals, rest time, transitions, and play
  • Encourage language development, independence, and social-emotional growth
  • Manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive guidance
  • Conduct ongoing observations and communicate progress with families
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements
  • Collaborate with assistant teachers and school leadership

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with 2-year-old children
  • Experience with toilet training and toddler development
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Patient, nurturing, and responsive caregiving approach
  • Montessori experience (preferred)

  • Salary: $4,000 per month
