Position Summary

The Sales Support Coordinator (Home Décor) is a hands-on operations role responsible for executing the day-to-day administrative, logistical, and system tasks that keep our business moving forward. Serving as a crucial link between our account management team, internal departments, buying teams, and overseas manufacturing partners in Asia, this role focuses on flawless data entry, tracking product samples, and managing physical showrooms. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and takes complete ownership of keeping client data and physical product timelines meticulously organized.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the position:


• Management of the day-to-day business communications and tasks.

• Communicate with cross functional business units.

• Track and manage project status and report on a weekly basis.

• Help review quotations and other proposal documents for accuracy and be able to obtain additional information when necessary.

• Manage customer specific internal processes and systems.

• Help to research and analyze market trends through comp shop reports, store photos and key observations.

• Help prepare and organize presentation materials for internal and external communication.

• Attend and participate in all internal meetings and take notes to communicate with our partners in Asia.

• Work with ecommerce manager to build marketing assets for in store and .com product content including but not limited to item descriptions, dimensions, features and benefits, marketing copy, and photography

• Support sales team during the meetings and customer presentations

• Manage sample preparation and review process.

• Manage all sample deliveries and unbox all items upon arrival, deliver samples in a timely manner

• Inspect samples and provide feedback to our partners in Asia.

• Lead all sample testing stages (development, aesthetic, pre-production, production, in-store pulls) and communicate results to our partners in Asia and to Walmart

• Create and attach sample tags for all sample finalizations

• Set showroom MOD to mirror current Walmart MOD and ensure we have all competitor items set correctly

• Manage new item set up process

• Create all new item numbers and set up items (item creation) in Supplier One

• Lead all color testing stages (LD, SD, MU) and communicate results to our partners in Asia and Walmart teams

• Manage/edit all packaging creation and communicate with Walmart and third-party packaging teams

• Assist our partners in Asia with RFID implementation, testing or inquiries

• Assist our partners in Asia with GRS, FSC and other pertinent certifications

• Review and key all quotes and ensure consistency between QMS, CCS, internal sheets, etc.

• Manage Bazaar voice sample process and customer reviews and responses.

• Maintain professional image and standards.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based on business needs


Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education needed to perform the job successfully:

2-5 years’ experience in Sales Support, Product Development and/or Account Management support

• B.A., BS, any field or equivalent experience

• Working knowledge of Walmart systems Scintilla, Supplier One, & Retail Link

• Preferably experience with foreign sourced products

• Familiarity and knowledge of packaging for Walmart Private Brands.

• Driven to constantly learn, grow and expand your knowledge about our business process as well as for products, materials production and innovation.

• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills

• Organized, resourceful and initiative-driven (self-starter).

• Exercise judgement to prioritize and communicate to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Extensive use of computers

• Load/unload samples

• Build/Assemble samples

• Regular store visits to monitor and track the market. Take store photos of displays, items and pricing and share them with teams.


Work Conditions:

• General office environment

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
