Professional Engineer (Electrical/Power Utility) Position Overview:

TELICS is seeking aProfessional Engineer (PE)licensed in the State of South Carolina to join our growing team. Licensure in neighboring states is a strong plus. An engineering professional with expertise inelectrical engineering, power utility design, GIS, and engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and engineering guidance for investor-owned utility (IOU) and electric cooperative projects.
• Review, approve, and seal engineering designs in accordance with state regulations and industry standards.
• Lead the planning, design, and analysis of electrical distribution and utility infrastructure projects.
• Utilize GIS platforms and engineering analysis tools to support project development and decision-making.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, field personnel, and clients to deliver successful projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional customer service.
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
