Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans that address both short-term and long-term mental health goals.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate effective interventions.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of diverse clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation as per state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of clinical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and case managers, to deliver comprehensive care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Engage in professional development activities, staying informed about the latest research and trends in mental health to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Harmony Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base facing a range of challenges, from stress management and work-life balance to more complex issues such as trauma and substance abuse. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with a focus on mental health counseling.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• A thorough understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
