Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Coral Springs, FL. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. The role includes assisting in the preparation of financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial data. The Bookkeeper will use accounting software to update ledgers, generate reports, and support monthly and year-end closing activities. The individual will collaborate with the finance and accounting team, respond to client inquiries, and help ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and organizing financial records
• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and related reports
• Proficiency with accounting software and related financial tools
• Experience in finance, including monitoring transactions and supporting budgeting or cash flow activities
• Capability to accurately prepare and post journal entries (accounting) and reconcile accounts
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with clients and internal teams
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role in a business or firm environment is preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Coral Springs, FL, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Must speak English & Portuguese
