Sales Account Manager

Location: Houston, TX 77094

Position Type: Full Time

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for representing Synsus with customers and potential customers in the Consumer Lawn and Garden Division. The AM will be tasked with growing sales of Synsus' innovative technologies and services, as well as technically supporting the customers. The Account Manager will be a part of the overall sales organization within Synsus and will report to the Consumer Business Unit Director.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships and expand business with existing customers.
• Identify new markets and new accounts for expansion.
• Set and achieve sales objectives.
• Develop a technical proficiency for Synsus' product and service lines, with an ability to support customers with their first-line technical needs.
• Work as a key member of the sales team; be an active participant in team meetings, ideation sessions, and other team related activities.
• Develop strong positive relationships within our organization; contribute to a culture of teamwork with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Finance and others.
• Represent Synsus within the industry at relevant conferences, trade shows and other events.
• Stay up to date on industry news, competitive product lines, and pricing trends.
• Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven hunter mentality with experience developing new business pipelines, cold prospecting, and converting opportunities into long‑term manufacturing partnerships.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in the private‑label manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Experience in the home lawn and garden industry is a plus.
• Must travel as required, approximately 40% of the work.
• Education/Experience: University degree required.
• 8+ years of work experience in manufacturing sales.
