As a member of an Agile Scrum team, you’ll rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system, following core engineering principles to deliver fully functioning mission capability securely and continuously.

Basic Qualifications

• Recent experience with Java, JavaScript, and Node.js for full-stack software development

• Experience with Git/GitLab/Git Bash for software version control

• Experience with CI/CD — deployment pipelines, automated builds, and configuration tools

• Experience with application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/OpenStack/OpenShift)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, another engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with software testing best practices: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (US citizenship required)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with API design and development, including RESTful APIs

• Experience with microservices and microservice architecture

• Recent experience with JavaScript web-component libraries/frameworks (Lit, React, Angular)

• Experience with Lit for front-end development

• Experience with CesiumJS

• Experience with HTML/CSS

• Experience with Quarkus for backend Java development

• Experience with Helm charts for infrastructure as code (IaC)

• Knowledge of database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Familiarity with the space domain

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style

• Experience with unit testing via Playwright and/or integration testing via Cucumber

• Experience on large-scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders

• Proficiency in AI prompting as applied to software engineering practice

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $115,000 – $187,000
