Health and Recovery 88, Inc. is a franchisee of SWTHZ developing 10 locations across the Cleveland, Ohio area. With studios currently open in Ohio City and Strongsville and additional locations opening in the coming months, we're building a high-performing team focused on delivering an exceptional recovery experience to every member.

We're looking for a Studio Cleaner who takes pride in their work and understands that cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail are essential to an exceptional member experience.

Position Overview

The SweatHouz Studio Cleaner plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming studio environment.

This position is responsible for keeping treatment suites, showers, restrooms, lobby areas, laundry areas, and other studio spaces clean and properly stocked. The Studio Cleaner helps ensure every guest walks into a space that reflects the premium quality and professionalism of the SWTHZ brand.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

What You'll Do

Studio Cleaning & Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment throughout the day.
• Clean and maintain the lobby, front desk, hallways, common areas, and staff areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down, and sanitize surfaces as needed.
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the studio.
• Keep amenities and supplies properly stocked and organized.
• Maintain a consistently welcoming and guest-ready appearance.

Suite Turnover & Sanitization

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize infrared sauna suites and shower areas between guest sessions.
• Disinfect benches, doors, handles, control panels, counters, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and restock towels, linens, soaps, shampoos, body wash, and other guest amenities.
• Inspect suites for damage, maintenance concerns, or missing supplies.
• Immediately communicate maintenance or safety concerns to the Studio Manager.
• Ensure suites are fully prepared and guest-ready before the next appointment.

Laundry

• Operate washers and dryers according to studio procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize towels and linens.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean towels and linens throughout the day.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized.
• Properly clean, organize, and store cold compresses and other reusable items.
• Communicate supply needs to the Studio Manager before inventory becomes low.

Restroom Cleaning

• Regularly clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and other restroom surfaces.
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies.
• Maintain a clean, fresh, and odor-free restroom environment.
• Report plumbing, maintenance, or safety issues immediately.

Guest Experience

• Understand that cleanliness is a key part of the SWTHZ member experience.
• Work discreetly and professionally around guests and members.
• Respect guest privacy and personal belongings at all times.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with members.
• Help create an environment where guests feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, hospitality, hotels, fitness, wellness, healthcare, housekeeping, or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Experience with laundry operations and cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• We value reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Health, Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all studio cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Follow manufacturer instructions for cleaning products and equipment.
• Use gloves and other appropriate protective equipment when required.
• Properly store and handle cleaning chemicals.
• Never mix cleaning chemicals unless specifically directed by approved procedures.
• Immediately report spills, injuries, damaged equipment, hazards, or other safety concerns to management.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning movements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move laundry, cleaning supplies, trash, and other studio materials.
• Ability to work on wet floors and in warm environments associated with sauna operations.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the duration of a shift.
