Job Description: We are currently seeking a graphic Arts Designer with photography skills to join our in-house marketing team in designing creating product packaging. Editing photos, creating product-related literature for the company's bulbs, fixtures and electrical product lines. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and will have to familiarize themselves with our product catalog. The graphic designer will work closely with others on the team to complete projects as well as work independently to accomplish goals. Job Responsibilities: Design packaging for our expanding brand lineup from concept through print productionEnsure that package designs adhere to brand guideline with outstanding attention to detailsProduce print-ready final art files for pre-press production Revising existing artwork when neededCreating installation instructions for productsEditing photos in Adobe Photoshop Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required Skills - 1-year experience A strong understanding of brand/graphic consumer package designExperience in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)Familiarity with photo editingThe ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing team environment Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communicationMust be authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Requirements: In office position, requires regular attendance in office. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-6:00PM Friday 9:00AM-4:00PM. Winter hours 9:00AM-2:00PM.
