Summit Strength and Fitness is a training gym dedicated to helping individuals move well and achieve their goals outside the gym. Serving climbers, outdoor athletes, and everyday movers, we focus on building strength, confidence, and longevity through personalized programs. Our services include personal training, group classes, youth programs, and online coaching, all designed to emphasize sustainable training and movement quality. Whether improving climbing performance, recovering from injury, or enhancing day-to-day capability, our mission is to prepare clients to thrive outside the gym for years to come.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role located in Madison, WI, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Sales Director will oversee and drive sales operations, interact with clients to provide exceptional customer service, and develop strategies to expand the business. Core responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, analyzing client reports to identify sales opportunities, and supporting team operations to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Sales and Sales Operations, with a knack for meeting and exceeding targets
• Skilled in Customer Service, with the ability to build strong client relationships and address needs effectively
• Proficiency in Team Management to foster a collaborative and motivated workplace
• Business Development expertise, with a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Familiarity with the fitness, wellness, or climbing industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Summit Strength & fitness is a Small gym with a huge Community presence. We are not a gym that measures success by how much weight you can move rather by the experiences you have outside the gym. Everyone here comes from all sorts of backgrounds but we have the common goal to get outside to enjoy participating in our respective "mountain sports" in all seasons. We are a laid back bunch that understands when to put in the work (office and the gym) in order to be able to get out of here when the trails are calling.
