This is a great opportunity to join Sum Theory as a Senior Manager, Record-to-Report (R2R) in our Software Solutions practice. The Senior Manager, R2R will be a strategic functional leader who will lead the Record-to-Report functions of Financial Systems Consulting such as:
- Client Management/Strategic Sourcing
- Service Quality
- Contract Management
- Record to Report Solutions
- Indirect Procurement
The Senior Manager, R2R will oversee the implementation & support of best practices in these areas. The process leader will bring together best practices, benchmarks from the industry and work with various levels within Operations & Quality leadership to align the strategies and lead the process transformation at Sum Theory to be world class within and in support of the Client Management function.
Essential Job Responsibilities: - Partner with Sales & Operations senior management to identify and deliver digital capabilities that have the highest business impact across the Financial Systems Consulting function.
- Be the primary R2R Point of contact & lead the planning & delivery of Service Management capabilities and services in support of each of the functions 's strategy realization.
- Enhance the R2R Solutions Delivery process.
- Act as an Internal Consultant for Client Management strategy development & execution.
- Develop/execute/lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including projects to reduce supplier risk, improve service quality, reduce procurement cost, make/buy initiatives etc.
- Accountable for the full Value Stream and expert at understanding how data interacts between various R2R systems.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of Twelve years' of progressively responsible experience leading activities in Client/Supplier Management, Quality, Purchasing, Contracting, or related Digital functional areas, and project and/or change management experience.
- Experience with Trintech, OneStream and industry leading R2R tools.
- Project and/or change management experience in managing, leading, and implementing financial reconciliation or related systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strategic consultative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated competency in execution of multiple large projects simultaneously.
- Strong data manipulation and database management skills as well as spreadsheet and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration, delegation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Provides specialized expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures to meet users' needs.
- Strong organizational, client service, and interpersonal skills required to work with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- May require some travel (~10%).
