Job description
Digital Printing & Production Associate
Location: Shelton, CT
Success Printing is seeking a dependable and motivated Digital Printing & Production Associate to join our team in Shelton, CT. This is a hands-on role 40 hours per week, day shift 8:30 am - 5:00 pm M-F in a fast-paced commercial printing and mailing production environment, offering the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our operation. Must be able to pick up/move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial print shop; however, we are willing to train someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate digital printing and bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, and other finishing machinery.
Assist with mailing operations, including operating inserting equipment.
Package and prepare completed jobs for shipment.
Receive and organize incoming deliveries and materials.
Make local deliveries, including trips to the post office and customer locations as needed.
Support production activities across various departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Commercial printing or print production experience is preferred but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment and processes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Salary:
$18-25/hr depending on experience
