The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is an intermediate level position, requiring a solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to create and execute test plans and test cases.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements and design test plans accordingly
- Create and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications
- Perform manual and automated testing as needed
- Identify and report bugs and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and issues
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
