Job description

Stop & Go Stores is seeking a skilled and motivated Fuel Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Gilbarco and/or Wayne fuel dispensing systems and a strong understanding of fuel station equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel dispensers, pumps, and underground storage systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Gilbarco and Wayne systems, including POS interfaces and tank monitoring systems.
  • Conduct. routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with store managers and vendors to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience servicing fuel station equipment, with a focus on Gilbarco and/or Wayne systems.
  • Familiarity with Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Gilbarco and/or Wayne factory training certifications.
  • OSHA or other safety training credentials.
